This policy explains how Pickle Software LLC (“Pickle Software,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information in connection with the website at picklesoftware.dev.
Scope. This policy covers this website only. Our software products are governed by their own privacy policies, provided within each product and at the time you sign up for it. If you are a member of an organization that uses our software, that organization controls your records in it, and its own privacy practices apply alongside ours.
The short version
This is a small informational website. It sets no cookies, runs no advertising, and uses no third-party analytics or tracking. We do not sell personal information and never have. The only personal information we receive through this site is what you choose to put in an email to us.
Information we collect
Information you send us
If you email support@picklesoftware.dev, we receive your email address, your name if you provide it, and whatever you write in the message. We use it to respond to you and to keep a record of the conversation.
Server logs
Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when a page is requested — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, browser type, and referring page. These logs exist for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing problems. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors, and we do not attempt to identify individuals from them.

- Hetzner Online GmbH — website hosting and server logs, in a data centre located in Helsinki, Finland.
- Porkbun — domain registration, DNS, and forwarding of mail sent to our support address.
- Our email provider — delivery and storage of messages sent to and from our support address.
These providers are permitted to use the data only to deliver their service to us.
How long we keep it
Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and to maintain a reasonable business record, and is deleted when it is no longer needed. Server logs are rotated automatically and retained for a limited period — ordinarily around two weeks — after which they are discarded.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.

Some of our software products are used by organizations that serve minors. Those products handle children's information under their own policies and with the consent arrangements required by law, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) where it applies.

This site is served over HTTPS. We take reasonable measures to protect information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Pickle Software LLC is based in Ohio, in the United States. This website is hosted in Helsinki, Finland, so page requests and the server logs described above are processed within the European Union. Email you send us is received and stored in the United States.
This means information about your visit may be handled in either the European Union or the United States depending on how you interact with us. By using this site or contacting us, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in both.
